Quality and Certifications
TRANSPORTES LARA S.A. has implemented and maintains a product safety and quality management system based on the requirements of the international standards ISO 9001.2015, GMP + B4 and IFS Logistics and on the principles of the Codex Alimentarius HACCP / HACCP.
This quality policy also implies a constant and permanent evaluation of our suppliers and collaborators, measuring the number of incidents in relation to the services provided or products supplied, so if they exceed 3% they may be re-evaluated or be withdrawn.
Integrated quality policy
The Management of TRANSPORTES LARA S.A. has implemented and maintains a product safety and quality management system based on the requirements of the international standards ISO 9001.2015, GMP + B4 and IFS Logistics, for its activities of:
“Transportation in bulk by national and international road tanker of food products destined for human and animal consumption”.
The purpose of the product safety and quality management system is to guarantee the safety of the products transported by TRANSPORTES LARA SA, thanks to the fulfillment of all the requirements, those specified by the client, as well as the legal or regulatory requirements, and those necessary to ensure security during the provision of our service.
In order to do this, the manager of TRANSPORTES LARA S.A., with the active participation of all its components, compromises to achieve the following general objectives:
1.- Fulfillment of the requirements agreed with our clients, consolidating their trust in our organization.
2.- Commitment to define the quality policy of our organization, enhancing its knowledge, understanding and application by the organization’s staff and interested parties. This policy provides a frame of reference for the establishment of quality objectives.

6.- Ensure involvement in the food chain, having all the necessary mechanisms to act in any situation of product recall, through the implementation of crisis management systems, food defense and food fraud.
7.- Reduction of non-conformity levels, as well as complaints and rejections.
8.- Work with the objective of pursuing the continuous improvement of our work processes, both towards customer satisfaction, ensuring the compliance with our environmental responsibility and our ethical and labor responsibility.
9.- Enhance commitment to the product safety culture.
10.- Commitment to protect the environment and our surroundings, through actions and measures destined to prevent any type of contamination that could originate from operations in our activities, taking into account the context of our organization.

The Management of TRANSPORTES LARA S.A. supports this policy in the objectives related to food safety, they are set annually in the review of the food safety system.
